Photographing The San Bernardino Mountains

My photography and artwork of the San Bernardino Mountains go hand in hand because the former is usually inspiration for the latter.

Looking down towards Hesperia on a late December day is always an opportunity to see the beauty of trees and mountain ranges up in the San Bernardino Mountians.

Here is a photograph I took looking down the hillside during my walk.

The glimpse of snow-capped Mount Baldy at sunset.

My photographs of the view from Mount Baldy up in the San Bernardino Mountains has inspired a lot of my artwork, such as the forest sunset illustration I created above.

The photo above is looking down towards Hesperia right before dusk. The trees and mountains are heavily silhouetted during this time of day, which is an aspect of my photography that inspires my artwork on many an occasion.

Manzanita tree can be seen in the photograph I took looking down the hillside.

The silhouette view of Mount Baldy with wispy clouds above.
